The general idea
- Similar in concept to the IMD
- Focused set of indicators, differently weighted
- Areas where people are more likely to be digitally excluded
- Shiona wrote a lit review on this
- A tool / dataset we could publish as a mini-site
The story
- Unfinished business 😏
- Technical work mostly done
- GMCA have published a similar tool…
- …but I think we can do better!
- It would be good to validate our index and publish supporting analysis
The potential
- A product that might support bids for work
- Add an element to our understanding of intersecting inequalities
- Relevant to any work and comms around digital health and social exclusion
- An analytic element in evaluation work
- Background data for qualitative work for example on patient experience
